Structure of implant
In every case it is crucial to have a tooth implanted as soon as possible after losing it. Sometimes dental implants are possible to be placed on the same day as tooth removal. If there are friendly circumstances such a method is the best and reduce the healing time by half. However, sometimes we are forced to wait until the sore heals and the bone reconstructs in the implant place. But the rule is “the sooner, the better”. The sooner you have your implant placed, the sooner your natural look and function will come back and your possible additional costs ( e.g. of bone-forming supplement ..) will be lower. The time is also important due to the esthetic reason. Bone atrophy may be the reason to have crowns longer or have gum imitation so called “pink esthetics”. But then the effect may be weaker than expected, which is particularly important in the front and may influence your comfort and feeling good.
Side gaps may be completed with as many implants as lost teeth or , reducing costs, may have 3 or 4 implants joined together as a fixed bridge.
If you have lost all your teeth , it is possible to have implant or microimplant supported dentures. The costs are limited but we choose mobile restoration, which demands different hygiene than stable works.
