Root canal treatment
Canal root treatment , also known as endodontic treatment, is a procedure of tooth pulp treatment. In tooth pulp there are nerves and blood vessels responsible for keeping the tooth alive. The purpose of root canal treatment is to get rid of intense pain and to save the tooth. Benefits coming from endodontic treatment are substantial. The proper treatment and control allow to keep your tooth and to use the cured canal as the crown or prosthetic bridge base. The core of root canal treatment is to rid infected dental pulp, mechanically widen and disinfect canals, to seal them with special materials. In our clinic we use a very precise and fast mechanical system, which minimizes the treatment time and there is no need to have a few appointments (as it used to be in the past).
In order to assure patients maximum comfort and calm treatment process and to eliminate pain we give them a local anaesthetic.
We use very advanced methods and equipment:
- reciprocal system and electronic apparatus to measure the length of the root – endometer
- radiovisiography – allowing immediate control of the treatment during and after, without exposing the patient to big doses of x-ray.
